I am Gamila Kanew, the cauliflower Gami – a professional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athlete and coach.
Sports have always been important to me. I used to be a professional soccer player. However, after high school in November 2015, I started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which I like to call aggressive cuddling. Back then I had no clue that Jiu Jitsu was going to be the sport and the base from which I make a living. I had no clue this sport would made me earn my cauliflower ears, either.
